White teas, a speciality of Fujian province, are made by taking fresh tea leaves and buds and allowing them to dry naturally. Slow desiccation at room temperature allows plenty of time for natural processes to release nutrients in the leaf, and the resulting teas are brimming with antioxidants. Birt&Tang's blend of white tea with blackcurrant complements the smooth, subtle taste of the tea with tart berry flavours. It is certified by the Organic Food Federation.
