Plant Sterols work by blocking the absorption of dietary cholesterol into the bloodstream.

Lestrin Plus contains Beta-Sitosterol, a naturally occurring plant sterol that can help make up an important part of your diet.

Total dietary intake of phytosterols should not exceed 3g per day. A beneficial effect is obtained with a daily intake of 1.5g to 3g of plant setrols.

Lestrin Plus is not intended for people who do not need to control their blood cholesterol level.

Patients on Cholesterol lowering medication should only consume Lestrin Plus under medical supervision.
